Thursday 14 September, Glen Taylor School hosted the MATARIKI FESTIVAL. We invited several schools to come and share the experience of celebrating MATARIKI together as a community. We had Best Start Academy, Glendowie Primary, Glen Brae & Pt England School. Schools performed different Kapa Haka waiata and haka items. It was great to see so many members of the community attend and show up to support the event. After the performances, whanau and families were invited to attend each classroom to check out the hard work and activity stations our students came up with.
